I’m 31 weeks and 3 days
I work in a chip shop it can get upto 35-39 degrees in there I nearly passed out at work last night and have to work again tonight for 5 hours I keep feeling faint and finding it hard to stand it’s my last shift tomorrow and I’m just so worried about going to work tonight and something happening can anyone help with ways to make me feel better and keep cool

What about putting a bottle of water or squash in the freezer and then taking it with you and having sips as it defrosts? Or if you have ice at work, fill up a glass with ice and a bit of water and drink that.

Does your employer have an electric fan, or have you got one you can take in?

Honestly though, if you're feeling faint at the moment before you've even gone in to work, calling in sick might be the best option xx
