I'm coming up to 29 weeks and I have recently been hit by the most debilitating fatigue and muscle weakness I have ever experienced. I have anaemia (which I'm taking prescribed ferrous sulphate for) and insomnia and I'm not getting more than four hours of broken sleep each night. I also have naturally low blood pressure and suffered from an energy limiting chronic illness prior to falling pregnant. My legs literally do not work properly and constantly feel like they're about to buckle and I fall asleep at my desk at work. Even a short walk to the end of the road wipes me out completely. My partner works offshore and I'm alone at home with noone to lean on for weeks at a time so it's getting really hard to look after myself and the house and do my job. Forget about socialising. I'm not really after advice and I know this is all probably very normal, third trimester stuff. I think I just needed to vent! Has anyone else been absolutely taken out by their third trimester? My first trimester was pretty rough as I had bad sickness, anxiety, insomnia and fatigue, but I quite enjoyed my second trimester so this has been a real shock.
