Getting anxiety over being in car...

I'm an anxious mum anyway but in pregnancy I'm worse . Iam having counselling to help with this more, I would really appreciate some advice on how I'm thinking at the moment.

Currently 28w pregnant & I'm
switching from a petrol car to electric car and went out with DH to cinema and I drove the electric car. All fine when we got home I stupidly put my foot on the break by accident and we did a sharp jerk forward.
It wasn't a bump or accident or anything like that and baby has been so active all night and this morning.
I'm thinking do I need to go and get a scan or go hospital to checked etc. I've had no pain or bleeding etc.
I can't stop being anxious over causing some thing to the baby.
Thanks

You've not done any damage. It wasn't a crash, really nothing to worry about

I really wouldn’t worry unless you have symptoms of concerns or reduced movements. But glad you’re having counselling as it will help to be less anxious once baby arrives, as they will inevitably hurt themselves a lot and that’s normal !

Congratulations

Ahh I hate anxiety in pregnancy so stressful. You are doing the right thing having counselling.

But as far as what happened in the car I really wouldn't worry but as PP said if you have bleeding, reduced movements, feel unwell then you won't need to be checked.

Call your midwife though for reassurance rather than us lot on the internet for reassurance
