Is it normal to have no movement at 17 weeks (second pregnancy)?

I'm worried as I haven't felt baby move yet and tbh I just don't feel pregnant at all! I'm sure I felt my first baby move way before this point and I thought you felt the second earlier.

I did think I maybe maybe maybe felt some flutters one evening a few days ago, but it could have been normal tummy gurgling and nothing since.

I'm so worried :(

It's still fine to have not felt baby yet. Any chance you have an anterior placenta this time?

Every previous different but if you’re worried can you call the early pregnancy unit or your midwife?

Do you know where the placenta is? If it's anterior that might be cushioning movement so you feel it later, even with a second baby.

Heyy I have an anterior placenta and didn’t start feeling my baby move til about 23/24 weeks 😊

I barely felt my first move throughout - if I’d had my two the other way round I’d have thought there was something wrong because he moved so little. 17 weeks is still relatively early for movement

Do you have an anterior placenta? Do you carry weight around your abdomen?

Lots of things can factor into it but can be very normal either way. What's normal for some won't be for others.
