5 + 6. Yolk but no embryo

I’m nearly 6 weeks pregnant. Went for an early scan today.

They could see a gestational sac measuring 6weeks 5 days. There was a yolk sac but no embryo.

They’ve told me to come back in 2 weeks to see if things have improved.

Can’t stop thinking about it and I’m just gutted it might be over.

Anyone been in a similar situation??

Was there a reason to have an early scan? It’s so early - there are posts like this every day and the vast majority turn out fine. All the best for a viable pregnancy x

I’ve not had any bleeding or anything like that.

I’ve previously had an ectopic pregnancy so they put me down for an early scan.
