Baby play mats and gyms

Need some help stuck with what play mat to get little man what ones from these do you like the look off from these selections looking at using from new born until he grows out of it,

My baby is 11 weeks old now and we have a mostly black and white one (I think it was Baby Einstein) and we also have the Fisher Price one which has a foot piano which lights up and plays songs, she absolutely loves them both. My health visitor said to avoid the neutral/beige/light colour ones because although they look aesthetically pleasing in the house your baby likes bright colours & contrast! X

Honestly I would recommend just getting whatever is available on your local Facebook marketplace or an NCT nearly new sale.

Don't waste your money on a brand new one. Babies don't use these for very long and they're always in perfectly good condition second hand. The exact model doesn't really matter as they are basically all the same.

I would also suggest looking on FB Marketplace, my daughter recently bought most of her baby equipment and clothes from there, she got some real bargains! I was struggling to find any large item to buy for her, whoever I suggested something, she said that she’d already got one second hand! She isn’t short of money as she has a very well paid job as does her partner but she did not want to waste money on things a baby only needs for a short time. She did buy a new mattress for the next to me cot and the Moses basket and obviously bought a new car seat.
