Concerning blood test results at 23 weeks?

I just got some blood results back and it’s showing a high white blood cell count (14.3) and neutrophils (10.57), low HCT (0.341) and my ferritin levels are just on the cusp of being low.

I’ve read that high white blood cells and neutrophils can be normal due to the stress the body is under due to pregnancy. I have just recently moved and was having some family conflict which caused me a lot of stress. I haven’t been sick and I don’t feel like I have a UTI although I know sometimes they go unnoticed.

I do have a feeling that I am slightly anemic because my energy levels are so low at times.

I am sure I will get a call/be asked to come in if my results are a cause for concern but I just wanted anyone’s opinion if they’ve been in a similar position!

white cells normally go up in pregnancy. A physiological (dilutional) anaemia is also normal. Depending on how low your iron stores are they might suggest taking some iron.

Snap just had mine back I'm 29 weeks mine where wbc 14.0 and neutrophils 10.5
Ferritin Is is low to the reason our white blood cells go high is because we are adding stress on to our body's worh pregnancy and we then produce more white blood cells yours are normal for that stage ...

People will tell u oh u must be fighting an infection sometimes that's the case but it's not in my case I'm perfectly well just higher results due to stress on body from being pregnant ! It's fine don't worry x
