Pregnancy tiredness

I'm pregnant for the first time and, while I'm lucky not to suffer from nausea, I'm experiencing severe tiredness. I don't have the energy to read a book or do anything at all. Even after napping during the day, I still feel exhausted. I also suffer from low blood pressure. This constant fatigue is making me feel unproductive and down. Has anyone found anything that helps with tiredness during pregnancy?

Thanks!

Getting to 12 weeks. Your body is growing a new organ (placenta) once it’s done it will get eaiser.

Naps, sleeping a lot, resting as much as possible! I felt a lot better from 12ish weeks onwards.

Sleeping all the time if at all possible. Sleeping all weekend. Gets much better after first trimester.

Go to bed early, rest when you can. Drink lots of water.

Echo what the others have said. I've never experienced tiredness like it. But it improved from 10/12 weeks onwards!

As above comments but also, get your bloods done.. low iron can also make you feel extreme tiredness!

Thanks for your support ladies. I forgot to mention in the post, I'm already half way through week 13 so was hoping to feel better by now. Hopefully the extreme tiredness will pass soon.

Sleep. And get used to being unproductive, I'm afraid! You will get your energy back, but it will go again towards the end.

Definitely worth asking to get your bloods checked. And do make sure you're eating enough.

I'm 16 weeks and really struggling with fatigue this time. I didn't have it as much with my other two pregnancies but I have been prescribed iron tablets for low ferritin levels. Not sure they are actually doing anything yet because I feel like a zombie 😴
