16.5 weeks and suffering quite badly with allergies at the moment but loratadine is not cutting it. Had a sneezing fit earlier and suddenly felt like I’d been stabbed, followed by a deep, radiating spasm all across my lower abdomen. The pain took my breath away and made me shriek, lasted for about 30 seconds then faded. Happened again to a lesser extent shortly after another sneezing fit.

Assuming it’s RLP but my god! If it was that painful, how the fuck am I to cope with labour 😂😂😂

Don't stress yourself. Rlp is very sudden and takes you by surprise, I've also shouted out in pain after sneezing! In labour you will be prepared for the pain and have pain relief if wanted. I'd recommend a hypnobirthing course to get yourself mentally prepared, made me feel a lot calmer going into it 😊

It’s very unpleasant! I didn’t find labour pain worse particularly… just a lot more of it 😬

Birth Skills by Juju Sundin is a good read.
