I'm 16 nearly 17 weeks, I was having my chewable pregnancy multivitamin this evening as normal and accidentally inhaled a bit and started coughing heavily. It didn't last long and I didn't really stop breathing. I did get a brief low level cramp around my diaphragm but is there any chance it could harm the baby?
I haven't had a pregnancy go right yet and now I'm worried.

Hey hun. Baby will be fine. Think of if you have a cough and you’re coughing all the time, or the morning sickness. I’ve been waking myself up at night choking on sick due to acid reflux, it’s doing me in. Also just a note i have anxiety and it’s been horrific during pregnancy so i understand your concern about anything and everything x

I can’t see how this would harm the baby.

This will absolutley not harm the baby even slightly.

I'm a midwife, OP.

This will not harm your baby, I promise.
