27 Week Midwife Appointment

Hi.

I have my 27 week midwife appointment tomorrow and to me I don't feel like I have much of a bump for 27 weeks I often wonder where he's hiding 😂 I was just wondering if anyone else had a relatively small bump but baby measured okay? I'm 5ft5 and this is my first baby, I'm a size 12-14 for reference.

When I last seen my midwife at 24 weeks she said my uterus was in the place it should be for 24 weeks and said from my appointment tomorrow she will start to plot baby's growth on the chart but I'm worried with having a smaller bump that he may measure small but may not be small if that makes sense. My midwife didn't bat an eyelid last time she seen me when I said I feel like I've got no bump just curious if anyone had to have growth scans etc due to having a small bump but everything was okay? On my 20 week scan he was measuring perfectly and my amniotic fluid etc was all fine.

I barely had a bump with my first! Not until the 3rd trimester anyway. My fundal height fluxuated between too small and too big at every measurement, and I was referred for additional scans.

Baby popped out at nearly 9 lbs and has been healthy his whole life.

i mean, if you measure small they will send you for a scan and if the scan shows he's growing well that will be the end of it! I will say tho that my baby was around 50th percentile at 20 weeks and by 26 weeks he was (apparently) on the 92nd so things can change... Tho everybody says growth scans are only medium accurate so I wouldn't be too stressed
