3 miscarriages and pregnant again

Found out I was pregnant yesterday after having 3 miscarriages in a row and not falling pregnant for two years. I'm only in my mid 20's and I'm absolutely petrified that it will happen again. I have an appointment on Thursday at the EPU to confirm pregnancy and start cyclogest pessaries but since taking the test I have had pain in my stomach but I felt fine before this. I start a new job today too which does not help with the stress.
I don't know what I'm hoping for from this threat maybe a hand hold or some succes stories or people in the same boat.
Thank you for reading

Hi! Congratulations!! I know how you feel. It is such a head fuck.
I had an emergency D and C on Thursday which is my second loss this round of trying.

However I had three back to back losses and then a healthy (now 5!) baby when TTC number 1.

So there IS hope when it feels utterly dark. I feel like that now with me second loss whilst trying for number 2.

Have you been seen by a specialist?

@DDUndercover , hello sorry for the late reply been a really stressful couple of days
I'm so sorry about what your going through life can be so cruel!
It is really reassuring that you managed to have a healthy baby after 3 losses
I am under the recurrent miscarriage clinic and I am now taking 2 x 400mg cyclogest pessaries a day. I had a scan on Wednesday which showed I was only 5 weeks but everything looks how it should. I have now got some cramping and back pain.
I hope you are doing okay!

@twinkle36 gentle congratulations on your BFP 💗

I had 3 back to back losses last year. A MMC, a CP and a MC at 7wks. Was awaiting referral to fertility consultant when got a surprise BFP. Will be 35wks on Monday. Been a bit of a stressful pregnancy but starting to look forward to baby snuggles now!

Never found out a reason for our losses.

There is a lovely supportive 'pregnancy after loss' thread on here - will try to add link. 💗

Best of luck!

And love and hugs to you too @DDUndercover - hope you're doing as ok as can be 💕

Hi @twinkle36! Gentle congratulations on your new pregnancy and I’m so sorry to hear about your losses 💜

I started a thread for those of us who have had recent losses and are newly pregnant again. Feel free to join us over there if you’d like - there are lots of lovely women going through exactly the same as you right now 💜

Here for a handhold and to wish you gentle congratulations. Also to give you a positive story as after three MMCs and then an ectopic last October, I'm currently sat in hospital waiting for a c section for our rainbow baby (got our BFP without having a period after the ectopic). So things can and do turn around - keeping everything crossed for you that this is your rainbow too. I know how much of an anxious time you are going through 💐

Best of luck, OP. My successful pregnancy was ridden with anxiety after recurrent miscarriage and I never quite relaxed until I had my baby girl in my arms. Take it one day at a time x
