I am really 29 weeks pregnant and developed a varicose vein quite early on which in the last few weeks has spread (sorry for tmi) but to my vagina and bottom area, they can be really painful sometimes, I just wondered if anyone else had this and if they went away after birth x

Hey @hol92 - I’m on the Sept thread with you 🥰

Yes, had it with my first and it’s back again with this one! On one side down below. Totally disappeared as soon as I gave birth last time, so I’m hopeful the same will happen again this time x

Yes, totally gross but disappeared as soon as DD born.

I had this with my 4th. Luckily, the ones in my nether region disappeared after birth although the ones in my legs just got worse and worse unfortunately.

@tryingfortwo2 hey!! :) did you also have them in your legs? I keep wondering if they will disappear too x
@LancashireSquirrel I'm glad to hear that! Looks like a bunch of grapes hanging off me 😂
@THNG5 ah no I was worried about the one in my leg too, my mum does actually have them too so I think they may stay unfortunately- but I'm hopeful! X

I had one and it did disappear but it took more like six months. I was expected it to go faster and it lingered.
