Think I lost my mucus plug. Can this let bacteria in ?

I have b strep or strep b , whatever its called and was told when I'm in labour I'll need antibiotics as it can make baby seriously ill if not treated.
I'm due to be induced on Tuesday..
Today I lost what I think was or maybe a little of my mucus plug. It was really 'jelly like' and not like any discharge ive had before. Information online seems to suggest its a jelly like substance. The question is do I need to contact maternity with regards to this ? Since I carry b strep. I was previously told don't come in unless I'm in labour ( contractions regular , waters break ect) but no advice as to mucus plug. If I did lose my plug, does this let bacteria in near the baby or is it still well protected by sac?
I feel a bit daft but also concerned due to being a b strep carrier. I've added an image, and selected sensitive image, so please don't open if it may offend you.

I didnt want to read and run but from that photo i dont think it's the mucus plug... much bigger, not just on wiping and with some show in it too. Keep an eye and definitely call in if think you need to get checked lovely but in my experience i dont think its that xx

@ButterflySkies thanks hun. Perhaps I am over thinking it but the b strep bacteria I carry does freak me out as I've heard horror stories about babies who've been infected by it and it's been such a difficult journey to conceive this little one. I just don't want anything happening baba. The jelly like blob was just really weird.
