Hi,

I am 19 weeks pregnant.

I think I have started feeling quickenings but they only seem to be in the evening.

I don't feel anything in the daytime.

Is this normal?

At 27 weeks I now feel my baby move throughout the day but one of his most active periods is always in the evening as I'm about to go to sleep. When I first felt him several weeks ago it was also more obvious in the evenings. From what I understand it's a combination of the fact that you're relatively still with nothing to distract you so it's easier to feel them and also that the baby often wakes up when you're not moving (as opposed to when you're walking around during the day, which can lull them to sleep apparently).
