Hi, anyone had any experience with this?

My previous 2 pregnancies ended in missed miscarriage so went for an early scan.
They couldn't see anything but a yolk sac measuring about 6 weeks.
To me that means the baby hasn't developed.

Got another scan in 2 weeks. Going to be a long 2 weeks

Hi
My experience of early scans were being informed they'd struggle to see anything until after 7 weeks. Was the scan by vaginal probe ? (mine all were).

Sending virtual hugs x

How pregnant do you think you are? If you think you're ten weeks and measuring six with no embryo that's not great. But if you think you are 5-7 weeks then that sounds fine - a few days makes a big difference at this point. Best of luck.

Well I'm thinking the first day of my last period was about 6 weeks ago. But not entirely sure.

Last 2 missed miscarriages happened between 6/8 weeks. So just got to wait.

So frustrating

@herewegoagain123456 oh that is so stressful! Feels like such a long wait. Hopefully all is fine though, definitely not unusual to not see anything at this point x

Hi, I remember when I went for my 6 week scan, I was adamant I was 6 weeks working out from when my period was, even knew when I ovulated etc, I went for the scan and was told they could only see the yolk, they said I'm either not as far as I thought or the pregnancy stopped earlier, they even gave me the talk of if I bleed go to a&e etc I was heartbroken I walked out of there and cried, I rebooked for 2 weeks later and I had so much worry everyday, surprisingly when I went back baby and heartbeat was found and the original dates I said were low lining up. I never recommend anyone getting an early scan for this reason it's too early and causes such worry. Try not to let it get you down xx

Yea the only reason I get early scans is because I keep having missed miscarriages, so don't want to get to 12 weeks to find out it died 4 weeks ago again.

Thankyou for your positive message again though 🥰

I'm getting abit nausea now, but I did with my missed miscarriages. So not getting too hopeful

Thankyou. Although not hopeful. What little symptoms I did have, have disappeared today

So just went for my follow up scan!! And there was a heart beat!

Got another scan in 2 weeks times. This is when it normally goes wrong. So don't feel excited yet!
