Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone had experienced something similar to this. When I went to the loo this morning and wiped there was a tiny trace of blood on the tissue, when I wiped again it was fainter but there then it has completely disappeared for the rest of the day.
I’ve been having very mild cramps or twinges but have had those pretty much most of my pregnancy so far.
I haven’t had my first midwife appointment yet (6 weeks 2 days) and can’t access the Badger Notes app at the moment so just wondered what to do.
I’m still feeling like I have ‘morning’ sickness and boobs are still sore.
Thanks 😊

I wouldn't worry too much though always reach out for medical advice if you're concerned!

This happened with both of mine, and the cramps and aches were the worst for me during first trimester as your body is preparing and stretching in ways it hasn't had to before!

As for the spotting, this could just be little bean getting snuggled in and dislodging little bits of lining and in which case is totally normal, however if concerned do reach out for support.

Congratulations 🎊

Hi @Happymummydays, thank you for your reply 😊. There’s been nothing at all today so hopefully it was just the little bean getting comfy.

I just don’t know who to reach out to at the minute as haven’t had my first midwife appointment yet. Not sure if it’s my GP, the hospital, 111 or someone else.

It’s the sickness that is knocking me too but I keep telling myself it’s all for a good reason. 😊

@Aquacoast9 i had this last week, tiny pinprick and turned out I had a UTI without any symptoms. I would suggest getting a urine sample.

I had the same, I got referred to the hospital early pregnancy unit by the GP, but I think I got seen more quickly as I had a miscarriage last year. I doubt they’re open at the weekend, but worth contacting GP on Monday if it’s still going on. If it helps, I’m 27 weeks now- spotting is very common. And when I did have MC, it progressed to bleeding within a day so good yours has stopped.
