I had a normal period on the 13th June 2024
And today 28th June 2024 I have tested positive with a 1-2 week Induction on a clear blue digital test 2 WEEKS BEFORE MY PERIOD IS DUE , am I experiencing a miscarriage or is it possible for a test to show up a week after contraception or even to have a normal period and be pregnant? By my dates of contraception I'm either 1 week pregnant 3 weeks pregnant or 4 weeks? HELLPP.

This happened with both of mine and they're now 3 and 8 months, so definitely possible! Congratulations 🎊

When you had this, did you have a period but was still pregnant I just feel like it impossible to only be a week along and to have test positive I also did a dye test and the positive line was so dark and clear thank you for your message feeling hopeful

Do you mean dates of conception? When did you have sex?

Okay, so looking at your tests you're between three and four weeks pregnant.

TheShellBeach · 28/06/2024 23:40

What was the date of your period before the one two weeks ago?

Dlwor · 28/06/2024 23:44

16 th may

It's possible that the bleeding on 13th June is a red herring.

You must be about 4/5 weeks.

What red herring?

@Dlwor I had 2 "normal" periods with my first. I didn't think I could have been pregnant and so was convinced I had something wrong with me due to symptoms. I was really upset with the doctor for not being willing to do any tests until I did a pregnancy test!

Turns out she was right and I was 9 weeks along!

So I've started bleeding today so I think this may be the end of pregnancy if it was there in the first place
