LONG story but I will keep it as short as possible.
hoping someone knows someone or has been through this themselves.

unsure of where to get proper advice-

im an emergency nurse in Scotland - originally from Ireland.
my baby is due in November and my husband and myself would like to move back to Ireland after the baby is born. Money seems better, close to family etc.

has any nurse ever done this before ? A massive country move while on maternity and how did it work out? Did you have some things organised etc. honestly no idea where to start and haven’t told our family’s just yet x

Not sure how it works in Scotland but in England , moving while on maternity either puts you at risk of paying back maternity pay if you don’t come back for 3 months at the end or if you declare it at beginning you would get less maternity pay
