Prune juice - Advice please

I would love some advice.

Before becoming pregnancy I used to drink a glass of prune juice to help things along.

While on holiday I really I had really irregular bowel movements and ended up very bloated and constipated.

When I arrived back home I had a glass of prune juice - and it helped.

Now a few days later I randomly decided to look at the ingredients and noticed the juice had added multivitamins such as Vitamin A, Folic Acid, Vitamin E (I have attached a pic)

I read that that Vitamin A and E shouldn’t be taken in early pregnancy.

Could one glass have done some harm?

Thank you

Definitely wouldn't have done any harm. Advice is not to take Vitamin A supplements so perhaps find a prune juice without the added vitamins? You obviously can get Vitamin A naturally through veg like carrots, that's fine.

@Peonies12 thank you for your reply. I got some “normal” prune juice from Sainsbury’s today.

I find actual prunes better for this than prune juice FYI. Prune juice does nothing for me to move things along when pregnant.

In my last pregnancy I had a shot of prune juice every morning to help things along as my iron tablets really congested me. All was fine then and LO is nearly 4 and thriving!

If in any doubt refer to the NHS website or your MW 😀
