Sweating in Pregnancy

Hey, hoping for some feedback on here. I suffer with hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating of hands and feet). I used to use driclor once a week to treat but when found out pregnant I stopped using it because it’s high in aluminium. I’m now 4 months pregnant and this week suffering with this heat wave ! My hands are literally dripping wet. I asked the pharmacist if safe to use in pregnancy and she said it is . But when I look online there’s conflicting advice in other countries , eg USA says to avoid aluminium products . Has anyone experience with this ? Has anyone used driclor ? Or maybe other products ? Or just stopped using it while pregnant? Thanks

It would be interesting to know as I suffer from the same and it’s not been fun this week. But most of the time I tend to be ok and not need it so much. But I haven’t honestly used it in a while and certainly not in pregnancy

Hey, another hyperhidrosis sufferer here. I’ve never found Driclor worked for me so can’t give any advice on safety in pregnancy.

I normally take glycopyrronium and use iontophoresis treatments. I’ve stopped iontophoresis completely and I’m taking glycopyrronium occasionally at a lower dose when I feel desperate. With both of those (as with so much stuff) there’s no clear evidence on safety in pregnancy either way.

The result is I’m a sweaty mess. You really have my sympathy!
