Expelling Aniball/Epi-no

Hi mums!

I'm wondering what people's experience is with expelling the epino or aniball. It doesn't 'slip out for me like everyone seems to experience.

I'm 39+5 and have been using the Aniball every 2nd day for the last 3 weeks. I inflate with 2 pumps before inserting and then add another 6-7 pumps once inserting. I don't find it uncomfortable (a small bit of pressure initially but within a minutes I can't feel anything) so can leave it there for a while.

Expelling it though is something I really have to breath through. Everywhere I've read, people talk about it slipping out and so they have to hold it in. It's the total opposite for me, there's no budging this thing once it's in! I use my abs and breathing to expel it but its not the most pleasant. Wondering if anyone has a similar experience? Ie: fine when in and doesn't have to hold it in place to prevent it from slipping out?

I'm pregnant with my second and had a ventouse delivery and episiotomy on my first so want to do everything to minimise that happening again.

Any experience / advice would be great appreciated!
