Starbucks Refresha Drinks

Hi,

I tried a Starbucks Cool Lime Refresha today, before checking the ingredients. I just presumed since it was basically juice it would be okay. However, one of the ingredients is Green Coffee Extract and I can’t find any definite info on Google as to whether you can or can’t drink it. Nothing on the NHS guidelines, so now I’m just stressing a little bit! I’m 20 weeks now, so halfway through, and in my second trimester.

Can anyone offer any advice?

I'd not heard of it before but it looks like it's just unroasted coffee beans and contains less caffeine. There will be such a tiny amount of it in the drink anyway. Nothing to worry about.

Thank you!

I wouldn't worry about one drink.

If it's worrying you then I would avoid going forward, but honestly try not let one drink worry you.

I don't drink coffee often, however I have a cup of normal tea every morning and have had to odd iced coffee here or there. I was the same when I was pregnant with my son and all was well 😊

it's just a bit of caffeine. And honestly, if the NHS doesn't advise against it, go for it - even their advise is very cautious.

Thank you so much guys.
I do tend to be a very anxious person.
In future I’ll stick to what I know! 😂

If you like lime flavour, @Negangirlxx, Sainsbury's do an ice lolly that is pineapple, lime and coconut - it is delicious and very refreshing.
