C Section Recovery

35 weeks pregnant with baby number 2, electing a C Section as I had one with my first.

C Section mamas, was recovery for subsequent C Sections easier or harder?

I've not had two electives but I've had an emergency first and then an elective and I definitely recovered a bit quicker with the second one, probably because I hadn't gone through labour and all the rest of it. The first 2-4 days I felt like I had been run over but I was still able to shuffle around, dress myself, go to the toilet etc. Once I got to one week in my mobility massively improved and I could do short shopping trips and by two weeks I was feeling 95% normal.
