Working Out Pregnant.

Hello ladies.

I'm 15 weeks pregnant, and usually a slim size 6-8, I've already got a very noticeable bump but I've also gained quite a lot of weight already.. at least I feel like I have, I've never really needed to work out before, I have a busy job that has me on my feet and on the go 5 days a week but I've been looking into doing pregnancy friendly 15 minute workouts a few times a week on YouTube and also doing dog walks daily.

Any advice to keep the weight down and stay fit while pregnant? This is my first pregnancy and weight has also been a touchy issue of mine. But, being pregnant I'm eating a lot more than I normally would and a lot of it is heavily carbs ... it's all I seem to want.

I'm aware I will of course gain weight in pregnancy, but I don't want to become unrecognisable! Sorry if I sound shallow, it's not intentional. As I mentioned weight is a taboo topic for me and if I can help it, I'd like too.

I’d focus more on having a healthy diet and doing exercise which makes you feel good, helps you sleep etc. I’ve never owed scales, happily, so no idea how much I’ve gained in my pregnancy.

Did you exercise prior to falling pregnant. If you did you can continue most things during pregnancy. Pregnancy pilates may help if you didn't usually exercise much
