Braxton hicks or contractions?

I'm 40 weeks now.
Getting tightnings for the last hour averaging about every 7-10 mins. Lasting a minute long.

This is my 5th baby all my other labours were induced so I don't know what to expect naturally really. My baby is back to back and I have a lot of pain in my back but the tightnings are mainly across my bump at the top kind of and then stay there and fizzle out after wards but the dull ache in my back is still there.

Kind of worried as I have precipitate labour I seem to cope okay then hit 6cm and lose control and go to 10 in minutes and start pushing. But I'm just not sure if these are contractions or Braxton hicks?

Forgot to say I was 2cm after my second sweep on Friday if that changes anything?

Sounds like contractions if they are regular and persisting, good luck OP!

It all fizzled out around 3am. Pressure is back though now and back pain off for a walk. So fed up now 😩
