TTC - early clue blue test

Hi all,

Any advice or opinions on the below test would be immensely appreciated.

TTC and not sure if I’m driving myself crazy. First test was about 7DPO as I have used the Clear Blue test before period is next due and very clearly BFN. Second test is from this morning. Not sure if I can see a very faint line or if this is just wishful thinking.

Would take another test but Clear Blue recommend first urine of the day when testing early!

Thank you all xxx

I think I can see something faint. How many DPO are you?

Be careful as I did one of these clearblue ultra early tests at 10/11 DPO , FMU and all, and it was completely negative - then started drinking for days - I've just done a test at 14 DPO and it's BFP...!

@m00ngirl thanks so much for that! Mine were both FMU too. Ovulated last Wednesday according to Clear Blue calendar so trying to wait for my period to be sure and not get my hopes up, but it’s so tempting to try and see a BFP.

Wow!! Big congratulations to you!!!! Must have been very exciting for you still!

So you're 12 DPO? I do think I can see something! Could you try a FRER tomorrow? Or like you say wait for period to be due.

Thank you, I'm unspeakably excited and after a year of symptom spotting and testing can't believe it's happened as subtly as this..!

I do see a very faint line on the second test. Personally I much prefer pink dye tests so would maybe seek out a FRER or get the Boots early test which is very similar. Fingers crossed!

@m00ngirl I’ll definitely end up ordering FR on Amazon ahead of Wednesday…😅

ah that’s fantastic for you! Did you have many symptoms this time?

@Persipan thank you for your input - mine are crossed too! I’ll take the advice on the FR as I know blue tests are criticised for evap lines!

@MissAbell no symptoms for me - in fact my boobs were more sore around 8DPO than they are now, like my usual cycle, so esp after the negative clearblue ultra early at 10DPO I was convinced I was out and started drinking... obv don't know if it's viable yet but I'm at least technically pregnant according to 3 different tests so yes even an extreme symptom spotter like me can be fooled!
