Weight gain in face at 24 weeks

Is this permanent? I have a rather large bump already and my arms are thickening at the top but most obvious is the double chin and puffy face.
It's not my first pregnancy and I haven't experienced this before.
I seem to have gained a lot of weight very quickly and I'm only just part half way.

It's possible it's fluid retention and not actually fat deposits. This should eventually come out in your sweat and wee after birth.
It will take time but will go away just don't expect overnight results because a woman's body goes through a lot during pregnancy and will go through recovery at its own pace
