Hi ladies,

I’m 15+5 today and had my cervical length scan which showed 30mm. I’ve had a loop excision in the past. The doctor mentioned this is ok length as a starting block and we’d review in another 4 weeks.

I’ve been taking progesterone rectally since I found out due to previous losses and the consultant mentioned it’s up to me if I continue to use vaginally as it can keep the cervix longer.

My questions are; is 30mm an ok length at this stage? How quickly can they shorten?

Also (random question) can you use the cylogest vaginally just before bed? (I’ve been taking them around 8pm as obviously don’t need to lie down afterwards so I’ll have to push these back a bit) or do you need to use them in the morning etc? I forgot to ask the consultant!

thanks in advance for your help ❤️
