Hey! Did anyone find any morning sickness remedies that wasn't anything ginger? Seems to be making me worse 🤢

I've had two different tablets and an injection from my mw but I'm desperate to try other things too x

I had morning sickness for 7 months. I weighed less after delivery than pre pregnancy.

What helped? Not the injections.

Carbs. I’m not usually a crisp eater but I went through quite a lot when I was pregnant.

Snacking. On carbs. Always having something in my stomach. I had heard that sea sickness is worse if you have an empty stomach so I was working on that theory.

5 small meals a day. Not 3 large ones.

Doing this helped me through the day but I was still nauseous in the morning. I had to really force myself to eat.

Xonvea pills helped. Had to ask my gp

My go to was always sucking mints, Eskimo glacier ones. Still can't look at them to this day.

Salt and vinegar discos.

Only thing that has given me relief. 3rd time around and guess what I'm currently sucking on...😂

Very salty crisps. I always had a bag nearby.

Also not getting tired. I felt way, way worse on Friday afternoons than Monday mornings.

I'm currently 8 weeks with my second and the sickness is so much worse than my first. It feels endless. Salt and vinegar crisps are big one for me, I thought I'd be alright with other crisps but ready salted was a bad idea. I've been okay with bread and butter and plain pasta with cheese and ketchup too.

Medication is the only thing that has properly helped me, but I get some temporary relief from sour sweets. I have found love hearts sweets particularly good 😂and candy kittens sour watermelon.
