Brown discharge and progestrone in pregnancy advice

Hi, I am currently 8 weeks pregnant and have been on progestrone suppositories for two weeks. I insert them vaginally. Yesterday, I work up to light brown discharge mixed with the progesterone when I wiped. I then had little bits of the same when wiping through the day but it died off and had nothing last night or all day today. I also had cramping, bloating yesterday and back pain. I have no brown discharge/spotting today and my back feels better and so is the cramping. I still feel nauseous and tired. Has anyone had this during their pregnancy and all was fine? Not sure what it could be

The progesterone could be irritating your cervix a little.

Do you have a scan booked?

No I don’t as only 8 weeks and am waiting till my 12 week scan. I had one at 6 weeks and everything was great! I’ve started inserting them rectally and had no brown spotting last night or today. Just strange as I have taken them vaginally for nearly two weeks with no issues. So scary!

I’m on the pessaries and initially inserted them vaginallgy only to have fresh blood 24 hours later.

I started using them rectally and it’s been all good so far!

Mine was brown which worried me! Was yours red blood? So worried about miscarriage.
