Hi, so I'm almost 30 weeks pregnant. The last week I have felt this aching pressure most of the day in my vagina, baby is happy and kicking, no burning when peeing. Like it feels like if I had testicles someone is squeezing them tightly.

Is this normal? And what do I do to help the annoying pain?

Sounds like fanny daggers/ lighting crotch (it is a thing, look it up). It can feel like your vagina is swollen and sore but it's just from the pressure of baby.

Definitely had this! Remember telling the midwife I had a feeling like I was going to give birth to a pineapple - she told me to stay off my feet as much as possible and also to keep them up, relieves some of the pressure. Oh the joys 🙀

Doesn't this just come and go like lightning or does it hang around for hours then?

No, mine used to last for hours! It honestly felt like my whole fanny was swollen like a balloon. Sometimes it was worse getting out of bed or standing up and some days worse than others.

I had this that started around the same time my lady parts were very swollen midwife said it's normal. You could try a cold compress that always helped mine

Varicose veins of the vulva are a thing.
