38 weeks constant period pains & lost mucous plug

Hello,
I'm exactly 38 weeks today and due to have c section next Tuesday. I've had braxton hicks for weeks and weeks, recently have been having them in the night. Last night I had strong ones and period pains, was fine today until around 6pm started having constant period pains and my mucous plug has come out in parts (tmi)
I called triage and they said I can come in if I want to, but im not having contractions exactly, it's just constant period pains and pain in my back/bum
Did anyone else have this and it went away?

Huge congratulations OP, he’s beautiful. Well done for being strong and insisting they saw you, it’s shameful they treat you this way. But you did it, you brought him safely into the world!

And yes I think the main rule here is to just follow your instincts and advocate for yourself I think I was in denial that I was in labour aswell Blush

Congratulations, what a beautiful little boy! I'm always slightly envious of babies born with hair - mine were all bald! Well done on pushing to get seen - you know your own body better than anyone 🙂💐
