Had a sweep yesterday I'm 38+5 been having contractions on and off mainly period pain. Lost plug etc.
Was in the kitchen crying as I've been so over emotional today and my husband is doing us lamb for dinner which just sent me over the edge. But I didn't need a wee and suddenly started trickling into the pad? It went on for like a few seconds. Soaked through it and my knickers. I then went up for a wee which was defo wee.
But the wee was dark yellow and the liquid on the pad is sort of peach doesn't smell of wee and just sort of odourless.

My belly then went rock hard and felt weird. Now just sort of sitting here with a new pad on. Can't say I've had any more leaking?

Baby number 5 and never lost my waters before they've always broke them for me when I've been induced.

Get moving op!! Vaccuming will get contractions going ime...

Funny enough I haven't stopped today. I've hoovered top to bottom and even washed the floors and windows.
I'm really scared now to be upright I don't know why! It feels like a first birth as I've always been induced so no idea what to expect this time.

Hey my waters went for first time with baby number 5 too, sounds like it probably is waters, first trickle i felt was when i was wiggling cutting pizza for my old kids, but wasn’t sure, went yo to have a bath n trickled again when i lifted my leg to get in and then trickled again when i lifted my leg to get into the car to the hospital to check it- was my waters lol try doing a little wiggle or leg lifts see if more leaks out lol if you’re still not sure head to hospital xx

Really hope so. Dont know what to do with myself now. Kind of hoping the contractions start again. I thought it would be like instantly?

I had a hind water leak and lasted 3 weeks.
Tv shows and films have a lot to answer for lol

Sounds like your waters! With my son my waters broke and then nothing. No more waters, no contractions etc. hospital didn't even believe me, was a bad hospital tho! With my daughter they broke and kept breaking on and off for a couple hours. Both times I was advised to come in and be checked straight away. With my son I ended up being induced as nothing else happened, with my daughter she was born that same evening x

I think I'm going to go in I feel really ill. My head has been pounding since last night and I feel really sick. Just don't feel myself at all. When she's moving it is so painful it takes my breath away.

You and baby are at risk of infection once waters go, hence why they ask to check you as soon as any waters break. Definitely go in and get checked if you aren't feeling good. Dont wait

I'm guessing they'll want to induce me again. Feel a bit sad as I really want to do this on my own in the pool and just have a normal labour. But I just feel so ill since last night. The contractions was brutal this morning but have all stopped again. Sad

Eat spicy food, side walk on stairs, keep moving. With my daughter my waters broke, contractions started then completely stopped. It wasn't until I done all of above that they started up again. I then bounced and rolled my hips on a birthing ball for an hour. She was born in the pool a couple hours after this. I took was induced with my first as nothing happened. Hope you can get it going again yourself!
