HELP! Early pregnancy discharge normal or not

Hi Mums, just looking for some advice. I’m around 6 weeks pregnant and for the past week I have been having on and off discharge when I go to the toilet but I would say it happens most of the time. It has ranged from pink colour to now a sort of yellow colour maybe (pictures below). My boobs are on and off being sore too and feel nauseous now and again but not sure if that is anxiety either.

I do have a scan tomorrow morning but just wondered if anyone on here had any stories? After 2 chemical pregnancies I am just feeling extremely anxious.

I had discharge very similar to this and it panicked me that something was wrong but it was all okay. Annoyingly the discharge turned darker and I had some spotting too but it all worked out okay for me and EPU couldn’t explain the reason for it.

Hopefully it’s nothing and everything is okay 🤞
Keep an eye on incase the discharge gets heavier, turns to bleeding or accompanied by intense pain. Then phone EPU to see if you can get checked over.
If you’d like some reassurance though it won’t do any harm to phone EPU now and ask for their advice.

Thank You @Hiddenvoice. I am seeing EPU tomorrow for my scan so I thought if I called them they would probably just tell me to wait until my scan tomorrow but maybe I will give them a call.

I am having some mild period style cramps that are on and off too which I think is making me overthink too! I’m glad everything was okay for you ☺️

I had period like cramps throughout my first trimester. The midwife said it was my body just getting itself ready and was normal. If the pain was really sore and I felt I needed to take paracetamol then she asked me to phone in.

You could try phone EPU and see what they say, they might bring you in earlier or they might run through a list of questions first and ask you to wait

I would say that is implantation bleeding and nothing to worry about. At least you have scan tomorrow and hopefully put your mind at rest! Pregnancy is the scariest thing! Post back tomorrow and let us know how your scan goes x

Hi was there any update on this thread at all please as I'm experiencing the same thing and I'm 4 weeks pregnant and going out of my mind too early for a scan x

Hello, my first scan went okay and was advised the bleeding was normal and just implantation. I did go on to have a MMC 3 weeks late which is my 3rd but it as nothing to do with this bleeding. Sending you all the baby dust and I know it’s hard but try and stay positive and take each day as it comes! I’d you really feel unsure contact your local EPU and see if they can do blood test xxx
