I'm currently 7 weeks, and ideally we don't want to tell anyone about the pregnancy until after the 12 week scan. But in 2 weeks' time we're going on holiday with my in laws, and we'll be at the seaside, so I'll in all likelihood be wearing a swimsuit. How likely do you think it is that I'll get away with it?! I definitely wasn't showing at 9 weeks with my first, but the bloat is real this time around..! I have quite a slight figure so feel like any bump is kind of obvious...

I bloated quite a lot second time round! I couldn't button jeans up and had to do the hairband trick!

You could just say you have IBS or something?? or you are on your period so you are bloating?

I had a small bump by 9 weeks in my second pregnancy. I’m not small though so it wasn’t too noticeable.

I was asked if I was pregnant at 6weeks. At work.

The bloat then went down and a bump turned up around 15 weeks.

People who knew me well could definitely tell when I was 9 weeks in fitted clothing
Would recommend a floaty kaftan/open shirt of you want to hide it, and doing some pilates to focus on strengthening your core!

I moved into my maternity jeans at 9 weeks, I was starting to struggle doing up my regular jeans, I did just look like I'd put on weight at that point rather than a proper bump because it was all bloating at that point

Immediately. My mum figured it out at 8 weeks. I was in maternity clothes from 10 weeks (and that was with a good fortnight of denial) as I just couldn't fit in my jeans any more. I managed just by sizing up with my first for context. It might have been bloat, but it was bloat that never went away, and eventually became a bump.

Pahaha thanks everyone, sounds like my prospects are not good, especially as I've realised I'll actually be more like 10 weeks by the time of the holiday.

@Didsomebodysaysnacks I can't believe people who just straight up ask if you're pregnant. Almost never a good question to ask, unless it's very very clear!
