Are you going to breastfeed or formula feed? I'm not sure - being old! - that baby milk is provided.

Kiwi23 · 17/06/2024 12:11

Breast pads
plenty of pads and pants
bottles and milk if bottle feeding
cotton wool or water wipes
headphone for you if you have to stay in
wash bag
blankets
hats for baby

Water bottle, with a straw.
Lip balm.
Flip flops for shower

Mini fan. Wards are so overheated and make me feel ill!

curiouscat1987 · 17/06/2024 12:50

Oh, snacks too and a water bottle/cup

Sarahjsxx · 17/06/2024 15:28

I will be Breastfeeding, but I think I recall last time I was there they did have baby milk
Thanks so much all good suggestions I didn't think of! Especially the fan and headphones x

Snacks, soft socks and a lovely shower gel for your first shower or bath after the birth. Phone charger!

Venturini · 17/06/2024 15:47

Mini fans and chargers! An extension lead can also be really handy.

painkillers, rennie deflatine and peppermint tea

yumyumyumy · 17/06/2024 15:51

Extra long charging cable. Headphones and something to watch/listen to so you can drown out the noise. A couple of hand held fans

Borgonzola · 17/06/2024 17:41

Toothbrush
More pads than you think you'll need
Nightie (comfier than pulling trousers up especially if c section)

maryberryslayers · 17/06/2024 20:55

Breast pads/feeding bra
Pillow
Socks
Flip flops
Hairbrush/bobble
Dressing gown
Muslins
Snacks
Long charger or battery pack

Cressie2 · 17/06/2024 22:18

A towel and maybe your own pillow.
A water bottle.

Sarahjsxx · 20/06/2024 04:58

Thank you all, I went into Labour before I could get everything and unfortunately I didn't manage to get the fan as that would have been amazing right now (the ward is boiling!)
And I keep dropping my phone charger so I also recommend a long charger cable & straws for drinks
