30 weeks and not gonna lie, I’m fed up!
of course very grateful to be pregnant and will definitely miss being pregnant when baby is here but god I’m struggling!
I have a 3 year old who is so lovely but so demanding, juggling work (luckily part time!) and a muscular back injury that just seems to be triggered by absolutely all movement 😭
my partner is great and helps out where he can but I’m just really fed up. I almost want to phone in sick for a couple of days just to get some rest and sleep but not sure if I’m just being dramatic! Not sure what I’m after by posting this, think I just need the vent more than anything 😂

Vent away! You say your partner 'helps out' - can he do a lot more? Take 3 year old out for the day, have a mini trip overnight somewhere with 3 year old?

If you need to take time off - then do it! You can have unpaid time off (or sick leave). If taking sick I wouldn't say it's due to pregnancy though as sometime work will make you start mat leave early due to this.

Honestly, I'd take the time off now and listen to your body. I've just started mat leave and didn't realise how much I needed a day or two to rest without a toddler! I wish I'd taken more time off in the run up to rest, do gentle exercise to relieve aches and pains, etc.

Plus, when you get to so many weeks pregnant, sickness is no longer possible and it just starts your mat leave early so make the most of it while you can so you can keep working for as long as you want.
