I am currently 4 weeks pregnant but I've had 3 miscarriages at the start of the year and I'm terrified it's going to happen again is a faint positive normal for 4 weeks?

Hey OP. This was mine 2-3 weeks. I think that’s definitely a positive for you! Have you tried the test strips like mine? Congratulations x

I had my son after 3 miscarriages. The consultant was prepared to scan weekly and said if something happened they may at least see what was happening. When we got to 20 weeks he said he didn't need to check each week anymore.

It did put my mind at week for half a week when done and then terrify me for the next half waiting. But then we had our son.

Sending positive vibes your way and hoping for the best

You could do clear blue the weeks one just to make sure your hcg is going up 😀

What are the best vitamins to take while pregnant

I used Pregnacare Max but my local family centre provided me vitamins for free. Folic acid is essential especially early on. My GP prescribed mine x

Thank you x

Hi Op,

I just thought I'd offer some solidarity. I am 4w6 pregnant after 4 miscarriages and a TFMR. I've attached my photo of my test at 4 weeks - it looks similar to yours. I think it's a good sign 🤞🏻

Are you under the care of a recurrent miscarriage specialist? I have a scan tomorrow (5w) just to check the pregnancy is in the right place and there's no uterine bleeding (which I've had before). I'm also taking aspirin, progesterone, prednisone (low dose steroids), vitamin D and a prenatal vitamin.

Really hope things go smoothly for you. Pregnancy after loss is hard!

Currently under no care as they dint boom you a appointment until your 6weeks

Best wishes! Don't loose hope.

Considering your previous losses, you could ask for daily low dose aspirin and progesterone.

TTCbb1 · 14/06/2024 09:26

I’m currently 14 weeks pregnancy after 3 early losses. It was a very anxious first trimester and I didn’t have much hope but it seems to be a sticky one! Wishing the same for you.

If you haven’t already done this, it’s worth going to your GP and getting bloods done to rule out things like thyroid issues. When you have your scan at the EPU definitely talk to them about aspirin and progesterone. I’m on both this time and I do wonder if that’s what’s made the difference.
