Gender based on 13 week scan

Hello ladies, this is my first post on this website. I am currently exactly 13 weeks and I just had my scan today. Could anyone help me to guess the gender of the baby? I have heard there are some theories such as 'nub' theory or 'skull' theory, and perhaps there are other methods to predict that i am not aware of. Or if anyone is willing to share their own ultrasound pictures and what gender you had that would also be welcome 🙈I apologize for the third picture being unclear

You'd need to upload a clear full scan picture or a potty shot if you want people to try and figure it out. You might as well have uploaded a picture of your pregnancy test, those images are useless.

The country I'm from we don't have such.. 'phenomenon'. Just today in ultrasound waiting room security guard kicked out all males since it was female only area. Any talk about 'gender' and one would be escorted to the psychiatrist or police station for mental evaluation.

Can you take an in-focus version of the last picture?

If the nub is visible, by 13 weeks it should actually be a pretty good indicator of the sex. However if it's not visible on the scan, skull theory alone isn't always as reliable.

i wish i could but i think they purposely make that picture blurry here so the nub cannot be seen (It's illegal to know the gender where i am) 🙄

There's no nub pictured unfortunately, ignore the above rudeness, you can absolutely tell at this gestation if baby is MALE or FEMALE....with a clear nub shot. 2 possible genders yes....you'll be glad to know you're not having a tree 😂

Ahh I wondered why the first photo was cropped and thought the third was just out of focus, but sounds like it's deliberately blurred then!

Did you notice if the nub was pointing up (over 30 degrees) or down during the scan itself, or did they stop you from seeing that area on screen? Some people who may be able to offer a prediction based on the skull alone, but as it's something I don't know much about I wouldn't feel confident other than a guess!

When i looked closely i could see a little 'something' and it pointed up slightly, perhaps 20 degrees

@Lilac90 I think in China and India it's not possible to find out as they have had some issues in the past with terminations based on gender.

It looks like it has a flatter skull to me and I think flatter is supposed to mean it's a boy and rounder skull means girl, so I say boy. I don't know how accurate this technique is!
