Why am I so big?

Hi, I am 9 weeks pregnant but my belly is so round! its my second baby, I am aware you can bloat as well but this just seems to be really extreme if it is bloating. Even the midwife was shocked at the size! I won’t find out until my scan but I just like to hear other peoples opinion. I am also just excited to show off my bump so please be kind to me

I was really bloated in the first trimester, it eased off in 2nd trimester possibly because I stopped taking progesterone

Me and my partner both have twins so there is a chance of twins actually🫢

Hey OP. Could be more than one, extra fluid or just bloating lol. I’m 35 weeks today and have got too much fluid so look like I’m 45 weeks 😩

I was like that with baby no 1 OP. Just happens to some of us! Tummy is now completely flat again 10 months post partum.

This is how I was, it was bloating and turned into a proper bump when I was further along, I'm 34 weeks now and no mistaking it 😅

This was me at 9 weeks with my 4th 😂 everyone thought it would be twins but nope I just had the one but she turned out to be a big one lol

Dont worry it’s just a bit of bloating! I don’t think it looks that big? I look like that now after a big dinner 😂 The foetus is a speck, but you can get quite bloated. I was the same for the first 12wks, then the bloat went away and the bump appeared around 20wks.

With my first, my bump was measuring 95th percentile, so it was thought baby might be big. He was a petite 6lb 7oz (not at 9 weeks, but goes to show, it's just our bodies being weird and wonderful!)

I was very big early on with my 4th (I could feel my womb too - it was huge and very high up even at 12 weeks). I managed to persuade my midwife to get me an early scan. It was twins!!

yeah to be honest, everyone keeps saying people who don’t know you won’t know…it’s just that I am usually really petite so it feels really big for my body. I have booked an early scan for Saturday and I will be so glad to see what’s going on in there 🥰

She was born at 38 weeks by section weighing 8lb3oz😂 she was gaining 1lb per week
