Low iron 16 week app

Thinking back when I had my last child (2 years ago) my blood work after showed low iron and folate, I had my 16 week app today and she said I’ve got low iron and prescribed me tablets, I queried whether I should have been having these along with a higher dose of folic acid and she said it’s gone past the stage of folic acid supplements now so there’s nothing really we can do.
I've now sent myself into a panic that I have low folic acid because of my low iron and have really bad anxiety about my 20 week scan and the baby having spina bifida.

Has anyone been prescribed iron or been in a similar situation and had a pregnancy that’s absolutely fine?

@Mered12 I had low iron with my first pregnancy. Looking back at notes it got picked up at 28 weeks (they lost / never recorded my iron level at 12 weeks) by which point my ferritin level was 10 despite taking a pregnancy vitamin that contained iron. I was just prescribed iron tablets and baby was absolutely fine (wasn't prescribed folic acid with it).

I've a note on my file with second pregnancy that I'm at greater risk of anaemia, but still only been checked at 12 weeks so far (and now 23 weeks). I've been taking a pregnancy vitamin that contains iron (and folic acid) throughout
