This is my first pregnancy so I'm unsure if this is considered normal and would appreciate some advice from women who have been through pregnancy.

I started to have pain in my groin area a week ago. The pain has increased and I can now feel it on my inner thighs and towards my back too. My hips hurt too and back. I felt like this could just be the weight of the baby and my ligaments are getting more loose but I've also constantly had cramps in my lower stomach too. All the pain just feels very sore. Like I've got broken bones. Before the stomach pain would go away when I went to the toilet or moved position but that doesn't help anymore. Is that normal?

Muscular pain can be

of course your pain could be constipation or muscular - but difficult to say and I didn’t get this both times

doesnt sound like braxton hick

Labour itself can be a pain felt in the hips, back and stomach though

perhaps worth a trip to the unit just to check?

Hey OP. I’m currently 34+4 with my first baby and actually went into triage yesterday with these pains. Cramping like period pains and back pain. As mine isn’t constantly there and is bearable right now with paracetamol, they said it could be Braxton Hicks or my body just preparing and stretching for Labour. Maybe keep an eye and give them a call if you have any concerns. As I had no discharge or blood etc they didn’t sound concerned
