Been freaking out all day because the baby isn't moving as much today as it was yesterday.

I'm 23 weeks and had a scan yesterday so I'm trying to reassure myself everything is fine but I'm wondering what might explain the difference.

I ate a LOT of processed carbs and sugars yesterday, could that make a difference?

Also did a long pregnancy yoga class this morning and suppose I might be more relaxed?

With my first pregnancy (and the same pattern seems to be starting for this one) my baby would basically be really active every other day. It used to freak me out until I realised that was just their rhythm.f
If you really feel something is not right call your midwife but it could just be your normal.

@Eggyleggy I seem to be experiencing a similar pattern. I'll have a day of worry and then the next day complain how active they are being. I did get a real good kick as I was writing this though!

I have been told not to expect or observe a pattern til 28 weeks, I’m also 23 weeks and have some days with lots of movement and some days with only a little

This was the case for me at your stage. There were days when I felt nothing all day and only at night, it gets more frequent at 28 weeks, where you notice movements after every meal and if you don't count 4 movements every hour you can eat something sweet and see if the baby moves, if not better to call your midwife.

OK thanks all. My anxiety is through the roof!
