Hi All,

I’ve had a number of miscarriages and have recently found out I’m pregnant again. At around 5 weeks I started to feel slightly nauseous and my boobs were sore but this would come and go. I had a scan at 7weeks 5days which confirmed everything looked ok with the pregnancy. I’m now just under 9 weeks but my nausea has completely gone and my boobs seem to hurt one day and then not again for a few days. After having miscarriages I’m panicking that I could ultimately have another. Has anyone suffered mild pregnancy symptoms very early on which come and go or none at all? I was going to book another scan but the clinic have a disclaimer advising you can’t have an ultrasound if you have had one in the last 2 weeks and my last scan was a week ago. Thanks all! X

Yes with my boys I had mild nausea and headaches which soon disappeared by the time I was about 7/8 weeks, then nothing. Congratulations and good luck 😊

I had a lot of miscarriages, so I know how anxious you're feeling.

I did find that symptoms came and went, even in my successful pregnancies, so it sounds normal to me.

Wishing you well. It's almost certainly absolutely fine.

My symptoms came and went from week 5-7 then disappeared at 9ish weeks. Only had super mild symptoms from then on and have had good scans since 🤞

@SparklesandRainbows Thank you so much for your response. It’s really reassuring to hear that! Especially as the majority of things I read say that symptoms peak around 9 weeks and as mine seem to be improving it definitely got me worried. Thanks again ☺️ X

@TheShellBeach thanks so much for your message! I’m sorry to hear about your miscarriages but I’m glad you had successful pregnancies. It’s lovely to hear success stories after losses as there is always hope.

Do you have any advice for coping with the anxieties from past miscarriages with a new pregnancy. I have a scan booked in about 10 days with the EPU but it feels like a long time to wait with all the nerves! X

@T2024 thanks so much for your message, that’s really good to hear! I thought I was alone with symptoms going this early but it’s so reassuring to hear that yours were similar. How far along are you? X

I'm just over 12 weeks but haven't really had many symptoms since 9ish weeks, I think the placenta starts to take over then and you feel slightly better! My first pregnancy wasn't too bad symptom wise either so might be that too!

I wouldn't worry about symptoms coming and going, your body is most likely getting used to the level of hormones then rising again, I always worried when my boobs didn't hurt etc. X

Have you a scan booked @SunshineHope92? X

@T2024 Ahh congratulations 😀! That’s interesting re the placenta and makes sense if it starts to take over around that time why your symptoms might change. Thanks so much! I just immediately think the worst when I don’t notice symptoms as I had a MMC in February so didn’t have the typical miscarriage symptoms and only found out when I went for the scan. I have a scan booked with EPU on 17th which should be my 10 week scan x
