Ovulation is a mess, best tests?

Hey,

I thought I would just reach out as feel low today…I have a lovely daughter who is 5 and didn’t think I wanted more children but as you know things change…but I am struggling to get pregnant and even track my ovulation.

I am soon to be 40 and my husband 48. So I know it wasn’t going to be as easy, all the doctors tests show I should be able too…I am ovulating - admittedly at odd times, my period is never the same date and so I know what’s likely an age thing…it has however made it harder as I don’t fit any of the normal rules…I seem to ovulate 4/6 days after my period…and never get a solid peak line..I can test all month and get only a view faint like for 24hours.

I use the smiley face clear blue and the cheaper strips….i actually find the clear blue really hard to use since I never ovulate on the same date..so when the strips say yes the clear blue says no.

I have been pregnant so know I can, I had a MC at Christmas.

Any recommendations on good ovulation tests…sensitive ones? As I am sure I am in very early menopause….

Other than that I am healthy and take all the correct supplements…

thank you!
