Vagina/cervix pain 13w4d - is this normal?

Hi ladies,

Im 13w4d and for the past few days have had an achy feeling in vagina coupled with stronger ‘shooting’ pains which feel like they’re at the top around my cervix.

I did speak with GP but felt like she fobbed me off a little with the usual pains are normal etc.

I had a loop excision years ago, so I’m a bit worried about an incompetent cervix (have the scan at 16w4d but that seems like ages away).

I guess I’m looking for reassurance as to what could be causing these pains? And if it’s happened to anyone else?

I've had similar feelings and also had 16 week scan due to lletz. My cervix turned out to be fine after two scans I was discharged. The pain I think is just everything stretching!

Thanks for the reassurance @Sara1988 I’ve just had a quick check up with gp who did internal exam and looked with speculum and said cervix closed, all looked healthy etc so said it’s just normal aches and pains 🙈
