Not sure if medical management worked

Hello, I had a missed miscarriage (embryo measuring 6w 1day) but I should now be 10/11 weeks. Last week (four days ago) I took 4 misoprostol and had a medium amount of blood within the first hour and some cramps. After that the bleeding was fairly light with hardly any cramps and just small pieces of tissue. Now I have hardly any bleeding and some cramping like my period is coming. I was expecting more blood and clots and pain and wondered if maybe this hasn’t worked? Has anyone experienced this before?

I had a missed miscarriage last year in November. From first diagnoses to resolution, it took 3 months.

Sometimes the Misoprostol doesn't work and you either have to wait for your hCG levels to fall or you can opt for surgical management to speed things up, which is to say to have an MVA/D&C. I fought to avoid having surgery unless I got an infection, which luckily I didn't.

It can take time for your hCG levels to drop off entirely, but every woman, every pregnancy and every loss is different.
