16 weeks pregnancy rage

Hi - I’m 16 weeks pregnant with my first and I’m struggling with anger/frustration/annoyance. I work in law and I’m usually able to detach from the annoyances but I’m really finding it difficult to and it’s winding me up every day. I have to deal with difficult people a lot and deadlines and so on, it usually stresses me out a little but nothing like this. I live in a block of flats and noise from neighbours, neighbours smoking weed etc is also driving me crazy. Today I have been annoyed by one thing or another all day. Has anyone had this and it passed? Any tips on how to stay calm would be welcomed - my usual wind downs aren’t helping I just sit and fume about all the annoyances (that really aren’t that big a deal, but I can’t help it!)

Solicitor here too, 27 weeks, and my capacity to deal with work stress has massively diminished. Your post resonates with me a lot. I confided in a few work friends who have had babies recently and they said they felt the same and both ended up taking mat leave earlier than initially planned because they just couldn't cope with the job anymore...

We have a stressful job, we're assessed daily on our performance, we can't miss even the smallest thing without there being consequences...add in rude clients, no wonder it's too much. And I think our personalities don't lend well to losing control over our bodies etc.

It's very frustrating.

Pregnancy rage is a thing anyway 😅
