Hi all,

im currently 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant, I’m so excited but also so anxious. I have miscarried before but this was a fair few years ago now.

I’ve had a few symptoms just breast tenderness that seems to come and go? a metallic taste in my mouth and some cramping.

I feel like I’m constantly symptom checking and I’m worried if I don’t have enough symptoms, I’ve heard so many people say they didn’t have many symptoms and ended up miscarrying.

did you have many symptoms at 4 weeks?

thanks ☺️

@AprilShowers2021 its a vicious cycle isn’t it! I’ve never checked the toilet roll as much as I have these last couple of weeks 😅 from what everyone has said it seems that symptoms can come and go! A few days ago I felt completely normal but then today I’ve had sore boobs come back! Have you told anyone yet? I’ve told close family and one friend as I need reassurance, plus figured I would seek comfort in those people along the way, not sure if this would help you too! Wishing you a healthy pregnancy x

I haven't told anyone yet, I just don't feel I can. Another day and no syptoms have returned. Even my dry mouth has now stopped. I feel completely normal now and not pregnant The waiting is going to kill me. Roll on 21 June for this scan. How are you feeling today? Your comment about the loo roll did make me laugh. I'm doing the same haha.

@AprilShowers2021 thats understandable ☺️
i felt ok yesterday and then I started to have cramps in the evening and they set off my anxiety the most above anything. They seem to have passed a little and felt a bit sick today. How about you? Hope you are feeling ok today x

@RK1992 today is completely different.

I've had extremely painful backache that is constant and on my lower right side.

The only relief I get is when I stand up. It also seems to go round the front to the pelvis and I'm feeling dizzy, like I'm drunk.

No bleeding or any other syptoms at all. I'm sick with worry 😟. Not sure if it's worth going to the GP, they probably won't do anything.

Oh I tested my urine and its not a urine infection either 🤔.

Do you take anything for your cramps? X

Hi all, I’m in the same position as lots of you lovely ladies. I’m 4weeks 3 days (IVF, second round) scan books for Thursday 7th.
Reading the thread is absolutely where I am now. Zero symptoms. How are you all getting on? Any reassurance you can offer/advice?

I have had two previous chemical pregnancies and a miscarriage at 7 weeks.

Hi lovely, I'm not the OP but commented on this thread as I related massively. The best thing you can do is just take it one day at a time. It feels like time is going so slowly and like you'll never reach 12 weeks, but you will eventually. Set yourself little milestones, week by week, even day by day. Book private scans if you need to. Try to have faith in your body that it will do the right thing. Symptoms come and go, they're no indicator of how your pregnancy is progressing. I was non stop anxious throughout my entire pregnancy that symptoms coming and going must have meant bad things, but alas, I now have my baby boy in my arms as I type this. Wishing you a happy, healthy pregnancy xx
